Ensure that the Foreground Colour is set to Black with White as Background Colour Choose a suitable Brush Tool for the area to be selected. Set 'Brush Size' and the 'Hardness' to your needs. With Black as the Foreground Colour, paint with the brush to completely cover the area for selection. If you make a mistake, swap to White as the Foreground Colour ('X' is quick-key to swap B/G colour to F/G colou r - really useful). Notice that the default Quick mask colour is red. The colour can be changed in the Quick Mask Options Box (double-click QM icon) and the Opacity can also be adjusted too. |
