At our August 2002 meeting, Alan demonstrated his method of testing inkjet papers for archival stability and fading properties. He kindly offered to test papers for members and he writes ......

"If members e-mail me I will send them some notes and JPEG attachment (90K). This will show the size and form a test print should take for printing with their inks, as it is important to maintain compatibility of test strips.

I can only do a limited number at any time (16 max.), less the control prints and my own, they normally take about one month to complete.

It will be on the basis of first come and probable a limit of two per person, so they should select carefully.

The results will be added to the web site and test samples displayed at group meetings! NB: At the moment I can not do tests without glass as it is used to hold the test samples in place !"
